AMC直接预订根据Sarai Walker小说改篇﹑由Marti Noxon执笔的10集新剧《节食王国 Dietland》。（它参与了AMC新的「剧本成剧」开发模式，巴南该模式让编剧带剧本来过目，巴南如果满意就直接预订）该剧预定18年播出。《节食王国》会描述美容行业的背后，并以大胆﹑原创﹑有趣的方式曝光社会如何沈迷减肥。Joy Nash饰演Plum Kettle，她过去一直肥胖，现准备进行束胃带手术；她所生活的世界正被两派女性主义者所翻转，被夹在老派及新潮的观点中，Plum得在这场名副其实的「性别战争」中找到位置。
