凯蒂（贝拉·索恩 Bella Thorne 饰）自幼便患上了罕见的着色性干皮症，春暖对于常人来说非常普通的紫外线，春暖照在凯蒂的身上将会对她造成致命创伤。无奈之中，凯蒂只能在白天太阳还没落山的时候待在家中，靠着一把吉他弹奏谱曲为乐，但是一旦夜晚降临，凯蒂的时间就开始了，带着她心爱的吉他，凯蒂来到火车站，站在路边上自弹自唱。一天，一位名叫查理（帕特里克·施瓦辛格 Patrick Schwarzenegger 饰）的男子被凯蒂的歌声所吸引驻足观看，开朗活泼的凯蒂令他坠入了情网。让凯蒂没有想到的是，查理竟然是自己曾经暗恋过的人，为了能够抓住这段感情，凯蒂决定隐瞒自己的病情。
