本片讲述一位曾精神受创的女子莫莉，亚洲区在接受了一年多的治疗后终于出院了。为了开始新的生活，亚洲区她搬到了新的公寓里。某天她听到了楼上传来了神秘的敲击声，而楼上的人却称没有听到任何声音。伴随着敲击声的次数越来越多，莫莉越发感觉到是有人在求救，但周围的人却认为她又发病了，莫莉也渐渐地歇斯底里了。这一切究竟是她的幻觉还是真实发生的呢？
