回复 :本音乐短片改编自史蒂芬·金（Stephen King）的原创故事，导演是特效大师斯坦·温斯顿（Stan Winston）。故事开头，胖镇长（迈克尔·杰克逊 Michael Jackson 饰）带着一群家长和孩子来到镇上的一座古堡中，目的是为了赶走古堡的怪主人（迈克尔·杰 克逊 Michael Jackson 饰）。面对镇长的咄咄相逼，古堡主人提议谁先让对方害怕谁就离开，于是古堡主人带领一群鬼怪开始了奇异的恐怖的表演。表演过程由《Too bad》《Is it scary》《Ghosts》三首歌曲串联而成，最后古堡主人成功吓跑了镇长，并得到了居民的喜爱。这是迈克尔·杰克逊1997年拍摄的一部吉尼斯世界纪录记录最长的音乐录音带，在此片中MJ分饰了无名角色，包括经过了特效化妆后的胖镇长。

It is more memorable than Julien Duvivier's earlier silent version of 1925, also named Poil de Carotte.The part of Poil de Carotte was played by 11 year old Robert Lynen, who was alleged to have been discovered whilst walking down the Champs-Elysées in Paris. Lynen is totally captivating and the film made him an instant star, launching what looked like becoming a very promising film career – until he was shot dead whilst fighting against the Germans in 1944. Harry Baur, a legendary stage and film actor (who also died during World War II, allegedly at the hands of the Gestapo), also turns in a typically fine performance. The reconciliation between father and son at the end of the film provides its most enduring image, enough to melt the heart of all but the most stoical of spectators.
