大有村村长李彪（李彧 饰）逆水行舟时遭台湾小老板蔡竹强（戎祥 饰）釜底抽薪，地球情急之下派阿昆（王宝强 饰）到城里寻靠山，地球不料事与愿违，竟牵连了财团CEO方向阳（方中信 饰）。在严重金融危机面前，方向阳有病乱投医，搞起了视频网站，其回收的“作品”令他大跌眼镜。蔡竹强却从中发现了商机，他唆使李彪搞“电影产业”，在经过一系列令人哭笑不得的折腾后，大有村建起了所谓“影视基地”，拐弯摸角地请来获过“国际大奖”的导演刘艺风（刘桦 饰）来村里拍片。在谁来担纲女一号的问题上，刘导演与投资人方向阳发生了冲突，最终导致导演撂挑子走人，身陷绝境的方向阳此时却遇到了旷世奇人......
