影片开头两位黑人到韩国人开的杂货店买东西，伊人依旧本来好好的，伊人依旧但是两个韩国夫妇从头到尾把他们当贼看，为此发生一点口角，他们就开枪打死了店里的工作人员，之后他们就踏上了不归路了...... 影片导演是黑人休斯兄弟。尽管他们还比不上影坛的另外几对兄弟帮科恩、沃卓斯基、法拉里有名，但是他们的两部低成本电影《威胁2:社会》（Menace2:Society）、《死亡总统》（Dead Presidents）都取得了不错的反响。作为黑人，能够打进电影制作圈在好莱坞也十分不易，而他们正是擅长于展现美国黑人绝望阴郁的生存环境。

He awakens with brain trauma, partially paralyzed and unable to speak. The police accuse him of stabbing an officer; the radicals herald him as an innocent victim of police brutality. During his slow recovery at the hospital, Hoffmann must piece together his life and struggle to remember the events of that night.
