汶河南岸，女同家家户户靠种菜为生。吃苦耐劳的陈明利成了大棚蔬菜种植的“土专家”后，女同反哺乡亲。他带领大伙儿建起绿色蔬菜基地，建立合作社机制。当乡亲们终于走上致富路，癌症晚期的他却带着对土地的眷恋离开了。
