天赋超群的习武者李阎由于身患绝症，赌王大骗只剩下几个月的生命。他在身陷绝境时意外遇到了一个自称“貘”的男人，赌王大骗被送入“阎浮果树”的一颗果实中。李阎必须在时限内完成系统发布的三个任务，并通过拳赛赚钱换取阎浮点数以购买能够治愈绝症的药剂。随着深入了解自己所在的龙渊城寨，李阎被逐渐卷入城寨内的争端，还察觉到有其他阎浮行走在暗中与自己竞争。突破重重困难后，李阎终于成功完成任务，也获得了新生。

回复 :OVA第1卷收录的是《羞晒し编》。《羞晒し编》是PS2游戏《寒蝉鸣泣之时 祭》初回限定版附赠的小说，同样由龙骑士07执笔，曾改编成Drama CD，这是该小说第一次动画化。该篇以市民游泳池为舞台，与作品主旋律大相径庭，是一部气氛轻松活跃的故事，主要角色均在此篇登场。
