该剧根据潘小楼原著小说《女孩们在那年夏天干了什么》改编，毒燎由豆瓣阅读授权。讲述了五个女孩在一场“特别的安排中”走进密室，毒燎15年前那个夏天发生在校园中的青春悬疑往事慢慢浮现。一个女生因为美丽陷入流言，少女们的性萌芽与人性原始的复杂善恶形成了真实与虚幻交织的故事。
