以香港80年代号称东南亚第一的销金窝“万国城”夜总会为故事舞台，星球呈现金光闪耀、星球躁动热烈的香港霓虹时代，一班来自不同阶层的午夜丽人——妈妈桑沙律（陈法蓉 饰）、助理大班&警花卧底Michelle（姚子羚 饰）、“万国城”头牌Monica（蔡洁 饰）等汇聚于此，见证着彼此的浮沉与挣扎、闪亮与熄灭，也卷入了风起云涌的情欲纠葛、江湖争斗之中。
