王振扬即将上任成为香港警务处长，午夜而他的上任势必会给香港龙蛇混杂的黑道以重大打击。侯家是香港最大的黑帮，午夜其话事人侯文华（魏骏杰 饰）扬言会在一个月之内让王振扬知道他们的厉害，重振黑道雄风，警方派出情报科高级督察黄家辉（郑嘉颖 饰），命其不顾一切保护王振扬的安全。侯文华联手泰国毒枭企图垄断东南亚毒品市场，他们的阴谋被女警丽塔（施莉达 Sririta Jensen 饰）识破，经过调查，这一切犯罪行动和富商郑坤有着撇不清的关系。西九龙重案组队长冯志伟（方中信 饰）邂逅了名为彭惠（蒙嘉慧 饰）的女子，后者实为侯文华的心爱之人。在侯文华的精心设计之下，冯志伟蒙上了杀警的不白之冤，与此同时，冯志伟亦发现在警局之中存在着黑帮卧底。
