本作は、马戏「長閑の庭」で知られるアキヤマ香のマンガを原作としたラブコメディ。妄想×グルメがテーマとなっており、马戏出版社のマンガ編集部員・所まどかが思いを寄せる男性営業部員・八角直哉に近付くべく、彼と同じものを食べて追体験するさまが描かれる。
