这是个关于东海岸一个部落所发生的故事。部落距离最近的城市坐公车要近2个半小时的车程，极道跟许多乡下一样有着资源分配及医疗设施不足的情况，极道部落里小孩及老人家居多。在这个靠着海的部落，自古传统及生活自然靠海维生，族人们潜到海底打渔如家常便饭，大鱼大虾的马上从海底到餐桌上，但人口严重流失导致部落许多传统已渐渐流失...而部落每年都有个祭典，在祭典前的一段时间，男人们必须都要到海里去打鱼捕获海鲜一直到祭典当天，男人们将丰富的收获于海祭时献给海神，祈求平安，而在村子对面的海上有着一座岛叫“巴克力蓝”。关于这座岛流传着一句古训：“你不是勇士，你不会到巴克力蓝，因为你没有勇气”“你不是猎人，你不会到巴克力蓝，因为你没有智慧”“你不是施者，你不会到巴克力蓝，因为你没有拥有爱”
